Die Humboldt Bigband verkörpert eine Mischung aus verschiedenen Bigband-Stilen wie Swing-
Klassikern, Latin-Arrangements, Jazz-Standards, Originals, Soul, Funk und Gesangsstücken und
verfügt über diverse Künstler der Berliner Jazzszene.
Die vielseitigen Musikerinnen und Musiker der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin werden gemeinsam

Victor Peter Svold (b. 1998) is a Danish singer, pianist and composer based in Aarhus, DK. His style and talent within all three disciplines are self-taught with the exception of a few short-term lessons with experienced teachers.
Latest, VP has recorded his debut album with a selection of the finest Danish big band musicians. The album is expected to release in Spring 2024.
With the album, Victor Peter will strive to open up the jazz genre to a broader audience and attempts to do so by combining traditional vocal jazz with modern pop-music. A small part of his music is available on all streaming services.

On October 29th 2023, Victor Svold is going to perform in b-flat and is going to amaze the
audience together with the Humboldt Bigband.
This talented singer and pianist is breaking down barriers with his unique blend of pop and
traditional vocal jazz, making the genre accessible to everyone. Drawing inspiration from greats
like Frank Sinatra and modern pop, Svold creates a classic yet contemporary sound.
Now, Svold is taking things to the next level with his debut album. With the release in Spring 2024,
he is aiming to redefine vocal big band music and bring it to a whole new audience. At this
concert, you’ll be able to hear several songs from his upcoming album as well as classics made
famous by Frank Sinatra.
The Humboldt Bigband stands for a mix of different Bigband styles like swing classics, latin
arrangements, jazz standards, originals, soul, funk and vocal pieces and consists of multiple
artists of Berlins Jazz scene.
